Today’s topic introduces the latest YouGov surveys on the most popular personalities according to the British public. The percentage shows how many respondents selected each person as one of the most famous figures. Without further ado, let’s begin from the bottom of the chart.
№10 – David Tennant (78%)
This popular Scottish actor, formerly part of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), is as talented on stage as he is in film and television. He dreamed of becoming an actor after watching Doctor Who as a child in 1963. Years later, he fulfilled that dream by portraying the Doctor in the 2005 revival of the series. Thanks to this role, he was even named “the sexiest man in the universe.” David Tennant is loved by the public for his distinctive slim figure and expressive raised eyebrow. You can also watch him in the popular TV adaptation of Good Omens.

It is hard not to admire this exceptionally famous American actor, whose career took off after appearing in George Lucas’s film American Graffiti. Iconic roles followed — Han Solo in Star Wars, the title character in the Indiana Jones series, and performances in Patriot Games, The Fugitive, Sabrina, and many others. We believe that many of those who voted for him were women captivated by his remarkable charm.

Born in Tennessee in 1937, Morgan Freeman is renowned for both his acting career and his deep, unforgettable voice. Modern audiences know him from memorable roles in Driving Miss Daisy, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Shawshank Redemption, and Seven. His portrayal of God in Bruce Almighty suits him perfectly thanks to his calm and profound charisma.

This wonderful actress, who has Russian ancestry, shines on stage and delivers equally outstanding performances on screen. Born in London, she was awarded the title of Dame by the Queen. This charming English actor, like many Britons, is reserved and rarely smiles — yet remains undeniably attractive. He began his career on stage but soon became an essential figure in the film industry.
